Her Story
Adelita Aguirre is a diligent and resolute early career professional with professional experience in
higher education, private philanthropy, direct service, and community philanthropy. Each of her roles
has focused on increasing access to resources such as scholarships, fellowships, and after school
programming for underrepresented communities.
Adelita earned a B.A in Psychology and a Master of Public Administration with an emphasis in
nonprofit management from the School of Public Affairs at University of Colorado Colorado
Springs. She is skilled in nonprofit, program, and grant management, and has a passion for
recruitment, outreach, and strategic planning.
Since moving to Denver in March, Adelita enjoys exploring the city with her friends, spending time
with her family, and dancing bachata and kizomba.
