Working Within partnered with Almost Home to turn a strong foundation into a fully resourced fundraising strategy. Through a structured Fundraising Toolkit engagement, we facilitated a Theory of Change session, completed a fundraising audit and donor segmentation analysis, and built a multi-stream revenue strategy. Together, we launched a three-segment donor engagement structure, designed a "Be a Housing Hero" year-end campaign, activated a board engagement plan, and delivered a social media strategy to deepen relationships and expand reach.

Almost Home engaged Working Within to build on an already strong grant foundation to grow additional revenue streams that would carry the organization forward. With an active donor community and a large board, the goal was to bring strategy and structure to individual giving, board engagement, and year-end fundraising so the team could move with confidence into a season of expanded fundraising results.

Working Within partnered with Almost Home Inc. to build on a strong grant foundation and grow additional revenue streams through a structured Fundraising Toolkit engagement. We facilitated a Theory of Change session, completed a full fundraising audit, and shaped a multi-stream revenue strategy around the team's highest-return opportunities.

Together, we built a three-segment donor engagement structure with personalized stewardship tracks, activated all 16 board members through a structured give/get framework, and produced a complete end-of-year and Colorado Gives Day campaign plan anchored by a "Be a Housing Hero" recurring giving ask. We also delivered a social media strategy to deepen relationships and expand reach across Adams, Broomfield, and southern Weld Counties.

This work resulted in a $135K projected non-grant revenue growth strategy for FY2026, 634 hours reallocated toward higher-return fundraising activities, and a clear, confident path forward for individual giving, board engagement, and year-end fundraising.
