Working Within partnered with iSSACHAR to build fundraising momentum and strengthen a foundation for long-term sustainability. Through executive coaching, team support, and hands-on implementation, we helped iSSACHAR move through end-of-year pressure and continue to develop clearer direction and more consistent fundraising practices. Together, we launched a focused year-end giving campaign, strengthened donor stewardship through segmentation and targeted outreach, increased board participation through a matching gift effort, and drafted a Theory of Change to anchor strategy, outcomes, and messaging heading into 2026.

iSSACHAR engaged Working Within to support end of year fundraising efforts and coordinate fundraising activities across a multi-talented team. The iSSACHAR Center uses fractional roles to get traction in strategic areas and asked Working Within to partner in putting practical systems in place for consistent fundraising. The goal was to move into 2026 more aligned, confident, and equipped with systems and strategies that support long-term sustainability.

iSSACHAR Center for Urban Leadership prepares culturally diverse Christian leaders to serve faithfully and effectively in complex urban contexts. With a focus on justice, reconciliation, and cross-cultural relationships, iSSACHAR equips leaders to integrate biblical wisdom with practical action. Through relationship-driven formation and a community-centered model, leaders gain clarity of calling, courage in leadership, and capacity for systemic impact. Working Within partnered with iSSACHAR Center for Urban Leadership during a season when the organization needed stronger systems and clearer direction heading into a pivotal year-end giving period. We began by working alongside their multi-talented team to clarify fundraising roles, align staff priorities, and put practical systems in place for more consistent and confident fundraising.

Through executive coaching and hands-on implementation, we helped iSSACHAR launch a focused year-end giving campaign, strengthen donor stewardship through segmentation and targeted outreach, and increase board participation through a matching gift effort. We also supported the development of a Theory of Change to anchor their strategy, outcomes, and messaging heading into 2026.

This work helped iSSACHAR organize 185+ donors for ongoing stewardship, advance 7 fundraising systems including donor and gratitude efforts, and achieve 100% board engagement in a new year-end matching fund. With 36 hours of fundraising coaching and execution support behind them, the organization is now better equipped with the momentum, systems, and strategy needed to sustain long-term impact in urban communities.
